The Chain Dining Society was founded in the wee morning hours of March 14, 2010 in James Hoban's Irish Restaurant and Bar when the founding members united around the shared belief that chain dining establishments are extremely underrated. There was no time to waste, and so the first meeting commenced the same day.
We are an all-inclusive, yet highly-selective organization dedicated to the sustainment of chain dining societies throughout the United States. Too often, chain dining establishments are mocked in popular culture such as Office Space, Old School, and countless others. When Will Ferrell spoke the words, "We were out at the Olive Garden for dinner, which was lovely..." you may have laughed, but we here at the Chain Dining Society heard a call to action. We're not afraid to admit that we love the endless bread and salad. Nor should you be.
We hope that our fearlessness will be contagious and that diners, servers, cooks and managers at chain dining establishments throughout the country can again hold their heads high knowing that they're a part of a great and delicious tradition of quick and affordable dining. We, at the Chain Dining Society want you to know when your server asks you if you if you'd like to start with the Potstickers or maybe some Spicy Southwestern Egg Rolls, it's okay to say yes and to say it loudly. Because Goddammit, They're good. And you know it.
